Engineered Printing Solutions designs, manufactures, and supplies high-performance printing pads—from standard shapes to fully custom solutions—engineered for precise, consistent image transfer.

Pad Options

Standard and Custom Pads for Every Application

At Engineered Printing Solutions, we produce and stocks all commonly used pads—cylindrical, square, linear, and compound—as well as hollow and dual-durometer pads capable of wrapping 180 degrees around a product. For unique jobs, EPS also designs and manufactures fully custom pads to meet specific application needs.

Printing pads are made from specialized silicone rubber designed for:

  • Excellent ink absorption and release for perfect image transfer
  • Strong tear resistance and durability against solvents and inks
  • Stable hardness and form to support long-term repeatability
  • Easy cleaning for quick, efficient maintenance

Pad Selection Support

Expert Guidance to Choose the Right Pad

EPS Customer Service is available to help identify the ideal pad design, shape, and hardness for any printing requirement. All pads are carefully inspected before shipment to ensure the surface promotes complete and consistent ink transfer.

What Determines the Best Pad for Your Job?

The choice of the pad depends on many elements, including the following:

  • Shape of the printing surface: flat or uneven.
  • Dimension of the printing surface: printing area.
  • Type of printing surface: smooth, rough, etc.
  • Number of the colors to be printed.

These elements determine the pad’s size, shape and hardness (expressed in durometer). Our pads are available in durometer ranges between 10 and 75. If the right pad is not available, we can make a custom pad for most unique applications and offer it for reorder.
